About Sharon Smith
Ms. Smith is responsible for the Charles Lindbergh, 1904 World’s Fair, and Veiled Prophet collections along with other collections unique to St. Louis’ history. Working at the Missouri History Museum since November 1989, she is also responsible for the children’s collection including dolls, toys, and sports.
Ms. Smith holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in Historical Studies with a focus on US history.
Many Missouri History Museum exhibitions have been curated or co-curated by Ms. Smith, including the May 2004 exhibition: The 1904 World’s Fair: Looking Back at Looking Forward, the centennial celebration of 1904 World’s Fair and a semi-permanent installation.
