Center of Clayton

The Center of Clayton offers the ultimate experience in sports, fitness, swimming, recreational, educational and lifestyle enhancing programs. The Center's 149,000 square feet includes four gymnasiums, plus 20,663 square feet of aquatic areas, a suspended jogging track, weight lifting, aerobic/dance areas, a 30-foot climbing wall, classrooms, lounge, Subway and 2592 square feet of meeting rooms. For more information on The Center of Clayton call 290-8500. 



Current News

Pool Closures

The Leisure Pool will be closed August 24 – September 1 for annual cleaning. During these times Center members will have free access to Shaw Park Aquatic Center by presenting a valid membership card. Please see the End of the Season Schedule for availability.

Labor Day Hours

The Center of Clayton will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. The Kid Center will be closed that day and no classes will be held. Other areas in The Center will have special hours as follows:

Climbing Wall 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Youth Activity Center 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

 
The leisure pool will be closed for cleaning. Center members will have free access to Shaw Park Aquatic Center during the open hours of 10:00 am – 8:00 pm by presenting a valid Center membership card.

Food Drive

The City of Clayton and the School District of Clayton are partnering with Operation Food Search to assist families in Ferguson and its surrounding communities. Non-perishable food items and toiletries can be dropped off at The Center of Clayton as well as City Hall, school buildings and the Clayton Firehouse through September 9. More information.

If you have thought about learning the piano but don’t have the time for regular lessons, this is the class for you. In just a few hours you can learn all the chords you'll need to play any song and give you years of musical enjoyment.  More Information.
