Patty DeForrest
Director of Parks and Recreation
Patty is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Department of Parks and Recreation.  In this capacity, she works with staff to ensure that the mission of the department,  "to improve the quality of life for our citizens through the provision of comprehensive leisure services and recreational opportunities to individuals of all ages, abilities, and interests in a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment" is attained. Superintendent of Parks & Recreation Operations

Eric Gruenenfelder
Superintendent of Recreation

Janet Eiserle
Event Specialist
Janet is responsible for coordinating all City of Clayton special events including the Taste of Clayton, Cupid's Ball, Party in the Patch, Musical Nights at Oak Knoll  and a variety of others. Dan Krewson
Assistant Marketing Supervisor
Dan is responsible for all publishing and marketing for The Center of CLayton and the Clayton Parks and Recreation Department. He designs marketing materials, as well as oversees The Center of Clayton and Clayton Parks and Recreation Department websites. Sarah Umlauf
Community Resource Coordinator
Sarah Umlauf provides administrative support for the Century Foundation and works closely with the Historic Hanley House.  Her responsibilities at the historic site include organizing and leading tours, researching the home and its artifacts, and managing a new and vibrant volunteer program dedicated to the success of Clayton's oldest surviving structure. Sarah looks forward to continued museum growth and she is dedicated to not only preserving the past but also ensuring the future of the 19th Century farmhouse. Ann Jacobs
Community Recreation Supervisor
Ann is responsible for handling Center of Clayton rentals as well as planning programs of general interest and special events. Valerie Egel
Membership Services Supervisor
Valerie is responsible for overseeing the Welcome Desk and the Kid Center for the Center of Clayton. She also assists in the coordination of member communications through newsletters, e-mail notices, mailings and facility postings. Linda Sowder
Assistant Membership Services Supervisor
Linda is responsible for making sure that information is updated for all of our members.  This includes mailing renewal notices, processing monthly membership fees, terminating memberships as requested, running monthly reports for statistics and overseeing our membership retention program. Denise Ucinski
Recreation Assistant

Aquatics

Jason Quinton
Aquatic Supervisor 
Jason is responsible for overseeing the operations of the indoor and outdoor Aquatic Centers. He is directly responsible for the hiring, training and professionalism of the lifeguarding staff. Jason’s focus is on providing a quality aquatics environment while maintaining the highest level of safety. Chris Cholley
Assistant Aquatic Supervisor - Programming
Chris is responsible for the hiring and training of all aquatic program staff. He oversees aquatic special events, camps, group lessons, private lessons, and water fitness. Chris also assists the Aquatic Supervisor with the managing of lifeguarding staff and pool operations. Patrick Magee
Assistant Aquatic Supervisor Aquatic Operation
Patrick has worked in Aquatics for 10 years as a lifeguard, lifeguard instructor, swim instructor, and inclusion worker. He assist in the interviewing, hiring, supervising, scheduling, and training of all part time staff working at Shaw Park Aquatic Center as well as maintaining the water quality of all pools. In addition Patrick coordinates the pool schedule and handles facility bookings. FITNESS

Christi Gleason
Fitness Supervisor
Christi oversees the Fitness Department at the Center of Clayton, which includes management of all staff in the Fitness Center and Youth Activity Center, Personal Trainers, Group Fitness Instructors, and private contractors.  She also is responsible for purchase and maintenance of all fitness department equipment, as well as development, marketing, and implementation of new fitness programs.   If you have questions about any of these areas, please contact Christi at 314-290-8511 or cgleason@ci.clayton.mo.us.

Melissa Weideman
Assistant Fitness Supervisor

Matt Hayden
Personal training coordinator
Matt's responsibility is to assist the fitness supervisor with the management of personal training services. Matt is available in the evening and weekends to answer questions, assist new clients in selecting a personal trainer and services to meet their needs, and daily coordination of the services. Elizabeth Hickox
Athletics & Facilities Supervisor 
Liz is responsible for supervising and overseeing the operation of the Youth and Adult Sports Leagues, Shaw Park Ice Rink, Shaw Park Tennis Center, The Center of Clayton's indoor Climbing Wall, Sports Camps, and reservations of the following facilities; Shaw Park Ice Rink, Shaw Park Tennis Center, and The Center of Clayton Gymnasiums. Tim Hohenstein
Assistant Athletics & Facilities Supervisor

Andrew Entrikin
Sports Coordinator
Andrew is responsible for coordinating youth and adult sports leagues/programs as well as camps. Andrew also is involved with various programs offered by the department. Susan Renard
Superintendent of Parks / Horticulturist / Certified Arborist
Susan is responsible for managing the operations of the Parks Department. This division maintains the turf, sports fields, and landscapes as well as the buildings and fixtures throughout the park system. Tim Hale
Parks Supervisor

Geni Metzger
Horticulturist

Josh Slayback
Field Technician

Parks Supervisor
