Park Rentals
Shaw Park and Oak Knoll Park are the only Clayton parks available for reservation. All other parks are intended for passive use and are available on a first come, first served basis.
Residents of Clayton, Clayton businesses and employees of Clayton businesses may reserve a picnic site beginning on the first business day of the same calendar year. A Clayton Advantage Card is required to receive resident or corporate rates. Non-Residents may reserve sites beginning April 1 of the same calendar year. Prime dates and locations fill quickly, so reserve your space early. All areas require a refundable $100 security damage deposit.

Shaw Park
Shaw Park Under Construction in 2012! Reservations for the Shaw Park Pavilion, South Shelter and all Picnic Pads will only be available from April 1-June 30, 2012 this season, due to construction in the park. For more information about construction projects see our Parks Capital Projects page.
Shaw Park Pavilion
Located in the center of Shaw Park is the Shaw Park Pavilion which is a covered picnic site that has 30 picnic tables and accommodates up to 180 guests. Rest rooms are available at the shelters. The pavilion is suitable for large corporate gatherings and family reunions. The rental fee for the Shaw Park Pavilion is $325 for residents, $400 for corporate, and $475 for non-residents.
Shelters
The North Shelter is located near the new Shaw Park Tree Top Playground and the South Shelter is located near Shaw Park Drive for added convenience. These covered sites have 10 picnic tables and accommodate up to 60 guests. A fireplace, grill, running water, restroom facilities and play equipment are located at the sites. The rental fee for both the North and South Shelter is $50 for residents, $75 for corporate, and $100 for non-residents.
Picnic Pads
Five concrete picnic pads are located throughout Shaw Park. Each picnic pad has 6 picnic tables and a grill and can host up to 36 guests. The rental fee for picnic pads is $20 for residents, $25 for corporate, and $30 for non-residents.
Sand Volleyball
Two sand volleyball courts are available to reserve in Shaw Park. Reservations are made on a first come/first serve basis and fees per hour, per court are $8 for residents, $9 for corporate and $10 for non-residents. For court rentals, contact Tim Hohenstein at 314-290-8519.
Fields
Shaw Park has 4 softball diamonds (2 lighted) and one full size soccer field available to rent. Fields are available seasonally though Clayton Parks and Recreation and Clayton High School have priority usage. For field rental prices and availability, contact Tim Hohenstein at 314-290-8519.
Oak Knoll Park

The large picnic pad, located at the north end of the park near the playground and parking lot, has 8 picnic tables and a grill and can host up to 48 guests. The rental fee for the picnic pad is $50 for residents, $75 for corporate, and $100 for non-residents.
