Brown Shoe Chooses Clayton

Mayor Linda Goldstein announced the support by the City of Clayton and School District of Clayton for a proposal from Brown Shoe Company to build its world headquarters facility along Maryland Avenue between
Topton to Gay Avenue. Components of the project include: two new buildings that would add approximately 1,180,000 square feet of Class A office space; 50,000 to 80,000 square feet of retail space; 300 to 420 residential units; possibly a hotel; and a 2,000 to 2,200 space parking facility.
