Burglary in Clayton

At 12:15 a.m. Sunday (September 11, 2011) morning, two subjects burglarized a home on Southmoor Drive in Clayton. The homeowner woke, as the suspects were walking up the stairs to the second floor, and fired one shot from a gun at the intruders. The suspects ran from the house. A Clayton police officer responding to the call observed the suspect’s vehicle exiting Southmoor. After a brief pursuit, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed near Big Bend Boulevard and Clayton Road. Three suspects fled from the vehicle. With the assistance of the Richmond Heights and University City Police Departments, Clayton police captured all three suspects. The vehicle they were driving had been stolen from St. Louis.
Charged in warrants with Burglary 1st, stealing and receiving stolen property, are:
Terrance Henderson 17 yoa
2600 blk Rutger St. Louis
Jake Richardson 18 yoa
7500 blk Burwood St Louis
Bond for each was set at $50,000.
The third suspect, who was the driver of the vehicle, is a juvenile and has been turned over to Juvenile Authorities.
Terrance Henderson was treated at an area hospital for a gunshot wound to the right arm which he received in this incident. He is also wanted by the St. Louis City Police Department on several felonies including Burglary 1st and Burglary.
