February 18, 2010
Event statistics confirm that the first Clayton Restaurant Week (CRW) was a success. During Clayton Restaurant
Week – January 25 through 31 – approximately 11,500 patrons visited the CRW restaurant of their choice. Seventeen of Clayton’s finest restaurants featured select items from their soup/salad/appetizer, entrée and dessert menus offering 3-course dinners for $25. To complement the meal, guests were offered specially
priced Casa Lapostolle wines in the “add a glass” promotion. Patrons also had the option of adding “Extra Credit” donations to their dining bill in $5 increments which resulted in $3,000 for benefiting charity KidSmart.
“We’re excited about the results of our first restaurant week event,” said Economic Developer Gary Carter. “It’s a great way to create a buzz and get the year started for our businesses.”
Participating restaurants in the 2010 Clayton Restaurant Week were: Alexander’s (Sheraton), Araka, Barcelona, Bar Napoli, J. Bucks, Jimmy’s On The Park, John P. Fields, Luciano’s, Mazara, Miso, Molly Darcy’s (Seven Gables Inn), Oceano, Portabella, Remy’s, Ruth’s Chris, The Crossing and The Grill at The Ritz-Carlton.
