Earth Day Celebration

Clayton will hold its Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Clayton’s Shaw Park.

Activities for all ages will include: crafts, games, orienteering with the St. Louis Orienteering Club, delicious eco-friendly foods, and live music. An earth friendly scavenger hunt is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Poster contest awards will be announced at noon.

Guests will learn how the City of Clayton is reducing waste with its recycle program, reserving natural resources and working with other cities across the nation to help preserve our earth for future generations. Learn about local organic foods and farms, outdoor activities and adventures to enjoy, ways to reduce, reuse and recycle at home and much more.
