Fourth Annual Canine Classic

Is Clayton going to the dogs?

The fourth annual Clayton Canine Classic is set for Sunday, October 19 in Shaw Park from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
This year’s canine event is sponsored by Clayton on the Park-a Sunrise Senior Living Residence, Lola & Penelope’s, the City of Clayton and the Clayton Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds will benefit Stray Rescue of St. Louis, an organization that finds needy animals, provides proper medical attention and locates permanent homes for them.

The event will feature a Dressed to the K-nines fashion show, pup art, Trick or Treat Talent Show and games for dogs and/or their humans. Vendors and service providers on hand will include Lola & Penelope’s, Aussie Pet Mobile, Ask the Vet (Animal Clinic of Clayton), Natura, Team Dog, Missouri Disc Club, Dog Stars, GourMuttz, Kennelwood Pet Resorts, as well as food and drink vendors.

All dogs attending the event MUST be on leashes and accompanied by an adult human guardian.
