Pending Legislation - Solar and Wind Zoning

The City of Clayton has developed draft zoning regulations to govern the installation and use of Renewable Energy Systems such as solar panels and wind turbines.  The proposed regulations would amend the City’s zoning ordinance (Chapter 405 of the City’s Land Use Code) by classifying solar and wind energy systems as permitted accessory uses subject to City approval and adherence to the regulations.  The public is encouraged to view these regulations and provide comment.  For more information see the Pending Legislationpage.
