Shaw Park Ice Rink Opening Postponed

The Shaw Park Ice Rink was set to open on Friday, Nov. 23. However, due to warm weather earlier this week and rain on Wednesday, the Shaw Park Ice Rink opening has been postponed until Sunday, Nov. 25, (weather permitting) for public skating from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. On opening day, the public will be treated to free hot chocolate, snacks, and a bonfire. Clayton’s Parks & Recreation Department encourages the public to enjoy the day ice skating outdoors.

A re-opening celebration will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Festivities will include free snacks, hot chocolate, free arcade game play and giveaways throughout the day.

Public skating sessions are subject to change and may be canceled if weather conditions create an unsafe skating environment. For the latest skating information, call the Shaw Park Ice Rink Hotline at 314-290-8595.
