Center of Clayton

The Center of Clayton offers the ultimate experience in sports, fitness, swimming, recreational, educational and lifestyle enhancing programs. The Center's 149,000 square feet includes four gymnasiums, plus 20,663 square feet of aquatic areas, a suspended jogging track, weight lifting, aerobic/dance areas, a 30-foot climbing wall, classrooms, lounge, Subway and 2592 square feet of meeting rooms. For more information on The Center of Clayton call 290-8500.

Youth Soccer and Volleyball

Youth volleyball and soccer leagues will accept team and individual registrations through Friday, July 25. League practices will begin in mid-August with games starting in September. For more information, visit

Youth Triathlon

The J. Buck's Clayton Kids Triathlon presented by Companion will take place in Shaw Park on Sunday, August 3 at 8:00 am. The event is for children ages 7-14 and will consist of three legs – swim at The Center of Clayton, bicycle in Shaw Park and run on the Centennial trail.

Participants will be divided into two age divisions, 7-10 and 11-14 year-olds. The distances that each age group will complete are as follows:

  • SWIM: 100 yards / 200 yards
  • BIKE: 1.5 miles / 3 miles
  • RUN: .5 mile / 1 miles
