Martin Franklin Hanley built the Historic Hanley House in 1855.  The farmstead is the oldest structure in the City of Clayton and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The restored home is today an historic house museum filled with original family furnishings, artifacts, and letters that together represent an honest portrayal of 19th century Missouri life.

Unfortunately, the Harvest Moon Celebration has been cancelled due to rain.  

 

Bring your family and celebrate the Harvest Moon in Hanley Park.  Sample Pumpkin Spiced Ale, carve your own pumpkin (while supplies last), and taste a few delights of the Harvest Season.  Children’s activities include a coloring corner, pioneer dress-up station, and tree climbing with Adventure Tree.  Listen to live music from River Bend Bluegrass.

This event is free and open to the public.
