St. Louis Shakespeare Festival’s celebrated TourCo Program makes the stories and language of Shakespeare accessible and engaging for modern audiences through a free public performing arts tour that travels more than 450 miles across Missouri and Illinois each summer. By bringing the “Shakespeare in the Park” experience directly into vibrant local communities, TourCo continues to connect thousands with the joy of live theater.
For the first time in Festival history, TourCo 2026 will feature Shakespeare’s The Two Gentlemen of Verona, directed by Rebekah Scallet of New Jewish Theatre. This year’s tour expands to 30 performance sites—up from 24 in previous years—and is expected to reach more than 7,500 audience members across the region.
