Seasonal Service Worker (Parks)

Duties include: Maintaining public facilities, trash removal, sports field preparation, mowing, string trimming, maintaining landscaped beds in parks, watering trees and annual plantings, weeding beds, assisting full-time employees, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age, valid driver’s license, work in extreme hot/cold conditions and ability to lift 50 lbs required.  Offer of employment will be contingent upon a background check and passing a drug/alcohol screening.

Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional overtime availability on weekends and for special events. The City will provide work gloves, safety equipment and uniform shirts.  Employees are required to provide and wear safety toe shoes at all times.
