Police Weekly Incident Report: May 21-27
On Monday, at 4:44pm, a traffic stop in the 800 block of S. Hanley Rd. resulted in the driver being arrested for DWI.
On Wednesday, at 8:29 am, officers responded to the 900 block of Seminary Place for a report of a suspicious subject. The subject was found to be in possession of medication for which they do not have a prescription.
On Wednesday, at 3:40 pm, a vehicle accident occurred in the area of Clayton Rd. and S. Hanley Rd. when a vehicle jumped the curb and struck a parked car. The driver of the striking vehicle was arrested for DWI.
On Thursday, at 9:52 am, officers responded to the 10 block of Arundel for a report of items taken from an unlocked vehicle. Time of occurrence is sometime overnight.
On Friday, at 12:44 am, a traffic stop in the area of Clayton Rd. and S. Hanley Rd. resulted in the arrest of the driver for DWI.
On Friday, at 5:24 pm, a subject discovered that sometime between Thursday morning and Friday evening, his unlocked vehicle was rifled through while it was parked in the garage at 7700 Forsyth. Two of the victim's belongings were damaged, however nothing appeared to be missing.
On Friday, at 8:42 pm, a caller reported parking their vehicle at 8021 Clayton Rd. in the area of the Kitchen Conservatory at 6:15 pm. When they returned at 8:40 pm they discovered the vehicle had been stolen. The keys were left in the vehicle when it was parked and the vehicle was unlocked. The vehicle was recovered on Sunday in St. Louis City. On Saturday, at 12:57 am, a traffic stop in the area of Shaw Park and S. Brentwood resulted in the driver being issued a summons for possession of marijuana.
On Saturday, at 2:05 am, officers responded to a vehicle accident in the area of Forest Park Parkway and I-170. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver for DWI.
On Saturday, at 12:22 pm, officers responded to IHOP for a report of subjects leaving without paying for their meals. While officers were gathering information, an anonymous diner paid the bill.
On Saturday, at 10:44 pm, officers discovered a large underage party in the 10 block of Arundel. Investigation resulted in one adult being issued a summons for Minor In Possession of Alcohol and another adult being issued a summons for Failure to Supervise.
During this reporting period, the Clayton PD responded to 648 calls for service, including 31 automobile accident reports and 31 calls to assist the Fire Department.
