Police Weekly Incident Report: June 11 - 17
On Monday, June 11, at 4:07 am, officers responded to northbound I-170 for a vehicle that lost control and rolled over. An officer located the female driver trying to walk away from the scene. She was found to be intoxicated and she was subsequently arrested for DWI.
On Wednesday in the early morning hours, a burglary was discovered in the 6300 block of Ellenwood Ave. This burglary occurred between June 6 - 12. It appears entry was gained by forcing open a window.
On Wednesday at 9:10 am, officers responded to the St. Louis County Courts building for a female suspect who threatened to assault a case worker. The suspect was found to be in possession of prescription medication that was not prescribed to her. She was arrested for possession of drugs. On Friday at 11:30 am, license plates were reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 6300 block of Southwood.
On Saturday at 1230 hours, a report was taken for an attempted burglary on the 10 block of Arundel. It appeared that a suspect attempted to pry open a rear door, but entry was not gained. The time of occurrence was between Friday at 1:00 pm and Saturday at 12:00 pm.
On Sunday at 5:57 pm, a driver left the scene of an accident at Walgreens. The suspect was located by an officer and arrested a short time later.
On Sunday at 8:48 pm, two suspects exited CVS without paying for 6 bottles of Jack Daniels. They were arrested on the Galleria parking lot trying to run from the scene.
During this reporting period, the Clayton PD responded to 456 calls for service, including 19 automobile accidents and 31 calls to assist the Fire Department.
