Toys for Tots Drive

Publish Date:11/13/2018 10:13 AM

Is it too early to start thinking about Christmas?

The Clayton Fire Department does not think so.  Our annual toys for Tots drive is underway and this year we are being joined by the Clayton Police Department and the Clayton Parks and Recreation Department to make this the biggest year yet.

The Police and Fire Departments have already begun collecting and new toys can be dropped off at the Police Department, in the lobby, of 10 S Brentwood Blvd, or the Fire Station, in the apparatus bay (Forsyth entrance), at 10 N Bemiston Ave. Toys can also be dropped off in the atrium of the Center of Clayton, 50 Gay Ave.

This year the Police Department will also be collecting at the last “Coffee with a Cop” event this year.  It will be held Friday December 7th from 8:30-9:30 AM at the City Coffeehouse and Creperie at 36 N. Brentwood Blvd.  This event will give you an opportunity to interact with representatives from the Clayton Police and Fire Departments as well as helping to bring toys to brighten a child’s Holiday Season.

This year’s Toys for Tots campaign will wrap up with a special Movie Night at the Firehouse.  The Fire Department, Police Department, and members of the United States Marine Corp will be on hand for a special Showing of Arthur Christmas on December 8th from 6:00-9:00 PM in the apparatus bay of the Firehouse at 10 N Bemiston Ave.  We will close out this year’s drive with a final “Fill the Ambulance” push to make this our best Toys for Tots Drive ever.
