Clayton Fire Department Weekly Wrap Up December 17th - 30th
Due to the Christmas Holiday there was no weekly wrap up last week. The following numbers are compiled from the last two weeks, during which time the City of Clayton Fire Department
- Responded to 105 calls for service (54 Fire/Rescue & 51 Emergency Medical responses)
- Performed 39 commercial fire safety inspections
- Accumulated 407 hours of training
This week’s safety message is: Celebrate responsibly. New Years Eve should be a time to reflect on or triumphs and look forward to the wonderful time we have in store for us in 2019. If your celebration includes alcohol, we encourage you to drink responsibly. If you have just one drink do not drive. Plan for a taxi, lift, uber, or designate a sober driver. We want to wish everyone a safe and happy New Year.
The Clayton Fire Department exists to help prepare our community for emergencies, support people when overwhelmed, and care for them in their time of need. We want to provide a safe environment for our citizens and guests to enjoy our community and all it has to offer.
If you have any further questions about the Clayton Fire Department or programs that we offer, please feel free to contact Fire Captain/Public Information Officer Ryan Harrell at (314)290-8485 or RHarrell@ClaytonMo.gov
