Police Weekly Incident Report: January 7 - 13
On Tuesday at 3:00 am, a traffic stop on the 6300 block of Clayton Rd. resulted in a DWI arrest.
On Tuesday at 7:00 am, a male suspect was arrested for threatening to harm two employees at Walgreens. He also had two warrants for his arrest for assault and one warrant for trespassing.
On Tuesday 2:30 pm, a bicycle was reported stolen from a detached garage on the 6400 block of San Bonita. The walk-in door to the garage was pried open. The crime occurred in the 24 hour period prior to the report.
On Friday at 12:00 am, a traffic stop at S. Hanley and Davis resulted in a DWI arrest.
On Friday, a victim reported that she received an email from a person, who she believed to be a friend. The “friend” stated she was in need of money and asked the victim to purchase Apple iTune gift cards and reply to the email with the gift card numbers. The victim eventually figured out this was a scam. The email address from the scammer was slightly different than the address from the victim’s friend.
On Friday during the snow storm, the Clayton officers responded to 9 automobile accidents and numerous stalled vehicles.
On Sunday, a Clayton detective was activated by the Major Case Squad to participate in a homicide investigation in North County.
During this reporting period, the Clayton PD responded to 374 calls for service, including 23 automobile accidents and 24 calls to assist the Fire Department.
