Police Weekly Incident Report: January 21 - 27
On Tuesday morning, thefts from five unlocked vehicles were reported inside the Caleres parking garage on the 8300 block of Maryland. The suspect made numerous purchases at local stores with a victim’s stolen credit cards prior to discovery of the thefts.
On Thursday at 11:15 pm, four suspects (3 females and 1 male) dined and dashed from IHOP. They left the area in a vehicle.
On Friday at 11:00 pm, a check of a vehicle in Oak Knoll Park after hours resulted in the occupants being issued municipal court summonses for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Saturday, three detached garages on the 6300 block of Alamo were found with pry marks near the locks. It doesn’t appear that the suspect was able to make entry into the garages. This occurred during the overnight hours.
On Sunday at 10:00 pm, a juvenile was arrested for shoplifting from CVS. He was released to his parents and the case will be referred to St. Louis County Family Court.
During this reporting period, the Clayton PD responded to 373 calls for service, including 24 motor vehicle accidents and 35 calls to assist the Fire Department.
