Police Weekly Incident Report: March 4 - 10

On Monday evening, a male inmate at the St. Louis County Jail was found hiding a substance, suspected of being heroin, in a body cavity. The inmate was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance.

On Wednesday at 4:40 pm, a female suspect shoplifted items from a store on the 8100 block of Maryland.

On Saturday at 2:50 pm, an officer on patrol noticed construction material burning on the 7600 block of Forsyth. She notified the Fire Department, who responded and extinguished the fire.

During this reporting period, the Clayton Police Department responded to 432 calls for service, including 25 automobile accidents and 31 calls to assist the Fire Department.
