Police Weekly Incident Report: April 8 - 14

On Tuesday at 12:55 pm, a St. Ann police car pursued a felony suspect southbound on I-170 and then eastbound on Maryland Ave.  St. Ann PD terminated the pursuit on Maryland Ave.  The suspect was not apprehended. 

On Friday morning, a report was taken for two cars that were rummaged through on the 7400 block of Cromwell.  Change was taken from one vehicle and nothing was missing from the other vehicle.    

On Friday at 4:00 am, home surveillance video on Broadview showed a male suspect attempting to open a locked car door.  There were no other reports in the area. 

On Friday between 3:30 – 4:30 pm, credit cards were reported stolen from a locker at the Center of Clayton.  The victim’s credit cards were used at retail stores in neighboring cities.

On Friday night, a business on the 10 block of N. Central Ave was issued a summons for violating the Noise Ordinance. 

On Saturday at 1:39 am, a dine and dash was reported at IHOP.  A male suspect walked out on a $25 bill.

On Saturday at 1:48 am, a shoplifting was reported at Walgreens. A male suspect took hygienic products without paying.

On Saturday at 03:12 am, a city owned light pole was found knocked over on S. Brentwood and Corporate Park.  The striking vehicle was found abandoned on the Galleria parking lot with heavy damage.  The vehicle was towed and the owner was identified.  The owner turned himself in the next day and he was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident. 

During this reporting period, the Clayton PD responded to 509 calls for service, including 25 motor vehicle accidents and 38 calls to assist the Fire Department.
