Police Weekly Incident Report: September 16 - 22

On Tuesday morning, a male subject became agitated with a customer inside the Starbucks on N. Central and created a disturbance.  On the way out of the store he knocked over property belonging to two other customers.  Officers located the suspect a few blocks away and arrested him for peace disturbance.

On Friday afternoon, several vehicles inside the Metro parking garage at 232 S. Meramec were found with scratches that appeared to have been caused by a suspect using a key.

On Saturday morning, obscenities were found spray painted on the roadway on the 600 block of Francis Place.  Public Works was notified to remove the graffiti.

On Saturday afternoon, several male suspects entered CVS and stole St. Louis Cardinals ballcaps. 

On Sunday at 3:17 am, a traffic stop at Wydown and University resulted in the arrest of a passenger for felony possession of an illegal drug.  Two other passengers were issued summonses for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 

On Sunday at 3:00 pm, Straub’s reported that a male suspect was stealing liquor and left the scene on a bicycle.  Officers located and arrested the suspect at the Metrolink stop with two bottles of Crown Royal in his backpack.

During this reporting period, the Clayton PD responded to 542 calls for service, including 22 automobile accidents and 35 calls to assist the Fire Department.
