For public safety, please refrain from unnecessary outdoor activity around Clayton in storm-damaged areas.
This includes walking, jogging, and cycling. Clayton parks, except Oak Knoll Park, have been evaluated and deemed safe for outdoor recreational activities. We will continue to limit pedestrian walkways along Wydown for the safety of our residents and working crews.
Areas impacted by last night’s storm remain limited to local traffic only.
We are aware of solicitors in the area pitching insurance or cleanup services. They are not affiliated with the City of Clayton. Before taking any independent cleanup action, residents should contact their insurance carriers or licensed, reputable contractors for tree removal and additional services as needed.
If a city street tree (a tree located between the sidewalk and the street) has impacted your private property, please contact your insurance carrier or a licensed, reputable contractor for removal.
