Sealed bids for the Microsurfacing Project FY2019 Project will be received by the City of Clayton, Finance Department, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105, until 9:00 AM , on May 1, 2019. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 9:05 AM , on May 1, 2019

The Scope of Work consists of the application of microsurfacing to various residential and commercial roadways within the City of Clayton. Existing curb ramps will be replaced in order to bring them into ADA compliance.   Additional pay items will include pavement markings and traffic control.  Other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications.

Bid packages will be available April 1, 2019 at the link below. 

A mandantory prebid meeting will be held on April 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Conference Room A/B, 1st floor, Clayton City Hall, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105. Attendance is mandatory to be considered for this project.

Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.

A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
