The City of Clayton is accepting sealed bids for the Oak Knoll Park Site Improvements and Parking Lot Project. Bids will be received by the City of Clayton Director of Parks and Recreation, 50 Gay Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105, until 2:00 P.M. CDT, on Thursday, February 1, 2018. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at The Center of Clayton, Meeting Room C at 2:05 P.M. Please note that the closing date was extended to Feb. 1 due to an error in the Bid Document link.

The scope of work includes improvements to the entrance of Oak Knoll Park, replacement of the parking lot, installation of lighting, and site improvements along Big Bend Blvd.

The City intends to issue a Notice to Proceed on or before March 1, 2018.

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 10:00 AM. The meeting will take place at #2 Oak Knoll Park, the St. Louis Community Foundation, located in Oak Knoll Park. Attendance is mandatory to bid this project.

Questions regarding this project should be directed to the Patty DeForrest, Director of Parks & Recreation, City of Clayton. All questions should be submitted in writing via email to No questions will be accepted after 5:00 PM on January 18, 2018.

Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
