The City of Clayton is accepting sealed bids for the Shaw Park Multi-Purpose Facility – Site Utility Infrastructure Package. Bids will be received by the City of Clayton Director of Parks and Recreation, 50 Gay Avenue, Clayton, MO 63105, until 1:00 P.M. CDT, on Monday, March 12, 2018. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at The Center of Clayton, Meeting Room A at 1:05 P.M.
The scope of work includes furnishing all necessary labor, material, tools, equipment and supervision to construct the site utility infrastructure at Shaw Park. The work generally consists of relocation and rerouting of low voltage and copper cabling around the Shaw Park Ice Rink and Aquatic Center and the set-up of new electrical service connections out of the existing Ice Rink building prior to demolition.
All work to be built under the provisions of the “Standard Construction Specifications of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District”, dated 2009.
The City intends to issue a Notice to Proceed on or before March 30, 2018.
The pre-bid meeting has been rescheduled for February 22, 2018 at 9:00 AM. The meeting will take place at The Center of Clayton, Meeting Room A. Attendance is mandatory to bid this project.

Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workmen performing under this contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri.
A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ANY BID AND TO WAIVE ANY IRREGULARITIES IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY.
