Day of the Dead
Join us for a reimagined Día de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, October 24, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on N. Brentwood Blvd. in Downtown Clayton. In partnership with Hispanic Festival, Inc., this free, family-friendly festival celebrates the traditions of Día de los Muertos through live entertainment, authentic Latin American food, artisan vendors, cultural activities, and meaningful opportunities to honor loved ones.
Enjoy live Latin music, folkloric dance performances, interactive dance lessons, the vibrant Catrina Procession, artisan shopping, hands-on art activities, and the Community and Pet Altars. Savor authentic cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and refreshing aguas frescas while experiencing the rich culture and traditions of this beloved celebration.
From 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., the festival transitions into Noche de los Muertos, an energetic finale featuring illuminated décor, high-energy music, specialty cocktails, and last-hour food and drink specials—bringing the evening to a festive close with a lively, nightlife-inspired atmosphere.

Hydration Station
Stay refreshed while you celebrate! We’re offering a Hydration Station at the Día de los Muertos event for free water refills. Guests are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles to help us reduce waste and stay hydrated throughout the evening.

Station 1: Forsyth Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway
Station 2: Median of Forest Park Parkway just west of Central Avenue.
Street parking

Inclement Weather
If the event has been cancelled due to inclement weather, city staff will assess the situation and decide by 12 p.m. on the day of the event. Please consult our social media pages and website for official news regarding the event status/schedule.
Pets
Service animals are allowed during the Dia de los Muertos event. No pets are allowed.
