Requirements
All food trucks must comply with the following requirements:
Use of Premise

Vendor will guarantee and assume full and exclusive responsibility for all damages to property, fixtures, and equipment belonging to or used by the vendor at or in the vicinity of the facility if caused by its respective members, opponents, guests, or spectators during the periods covered by the agreement.

Vendor will comply with rules and regulations established and posted by Clayton.

Vendor will be responsible for placing all trash, garbage, and debris generated by the vendor in trash container(s) provided by Clayton.

No cooking oils or grease will be dumped into trashcans, planter areas, or the street.

No plastic water bottles; single-serve beverages must in aluminum. paper, or reusable containers.

No plastic cutlery, plates, or Styrofoam plates or containers.

No single-use Styrofoam or plastic containers.
Permits & Licenses
The vendor shall obtain and maintain all applicable permits, licenses and certificates required by the City of Clayton, St. Louis County and the State of Missouri and shall comply with all law. Food truck must provide a copy of the following to the City of Clayton:
Insurance and Harmless Condition
The Agreement shall require that the vendor covenants and agrees to release the City of Clayton, elected officials, appointed officials, all employees and volunteers from any and all liabilities of any kind or nature in which the right, cause of action, or claim of any kind or nature whatsoever may hereafter accrue to the vendor, its employees or agents, by virtue of the Agreement between the vendor and the City of Clayton. Vendor further covenants and agrees to hold the City of Clayton, elected officials, appointed officials, all employees and volunteers harmless from any and all claims, rights, or causes of actions or damages of every kind and nature whatsoever which may arise as a result of the Agreement between the City of Clayton and the Vendor.
Vendors participating in a City sponsored event on City property or the public right-of-way shall provide the City with a Certificate of Insurance name the City of Clayton as an additional insured on insurance policies as indicated in the City of Clayton's schedule of Event Insurance Requirements.
Release & Waiver Requirement
All participating food truck vendors are required to review, complete, and sign the our Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement in order to participate in City of Clayton festivals. A signed copy of this form must be submitted with your application.
This requirement applies to both the Clayton Music & Wine Festival and the Clayton Jazz Festival. Vendors who do not provide a signed release and waiver will not be permitted to participate.
