What the City of Clayton Provides

As part of your ribbon cutting celebration, the City of Clayton will:

• Bring ceremonial scissors and ribbon for the occasion
• Coordinate attendance of City leadership (Mayor or Board of Aldermen, as available)
• Deliver brief remarks, if requested
• Promote your event on the City's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
• Take informal photos during the ribbon cutting

What We Ask of You

To help ensure a successful event, we kindly ask that your business:

• Notify the City at least 30 days in advance of your preferred date
• Work with our team before selecting a date, so we can align with staff and official availability
• Invite your partners, vendors, customers, friends, and family to help celebrate
• Send the City a brief paragraph or event summary at least two weeks before your event
