Our preferred caterers are chosen for their quality, service and selection to provide a variety of choices
in menu and pricing. Preferred caterers have access to our on-site kitchen, may prepare or heat food on
site, and are permitted to serve alcohol if they have the requisite alcohol license. All license and health
department documents are on file at The Center.

Non-Preferred Caterers can be used with the following restrictions. Non-Preferred Caterers will not have access to our kitchen, glass or flatware. Food can be brought in warm but cannot be cooked on premises. Food may be kept warm by electric heat only (hotplates, crock pot, etc). Chafing dishes that use any type of heating fuel or sterno may not be used. Also remember non-preferred caterers cannot serve any alcoholic beverages at The Center.
Alcoholic beverages may only be served at The Center of Clayton through one of our preferred caterers whose menu includes the service of alcoholic beverages. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcohol. Non-preferred caterers and renters without caterers may only serve non-alcoholic beverages at The Center of Clayton.
Renters not using a preferred caterer may have access to the kitchen for an additional charge. The kitchen provides a refrigerator, freezer, stove top, conventional oven, microwave oven, and water access. Renter must provide all cooking equipment. All open flames other than the stove are not allowed.
Kitchen Fee: $50 per event
A $25 cleanup fee will be assessed if the kitchen or meeting room requires additional cleaning after the rental.
