Shaw Park Tennis Center has 10 hard courts, 9 with lights, that are available to the public. Court lights are push button, player operated (for 30 min.), and are available until the park closes at 11:00 pm. Shaded seating is available on the patio as well as between the banks of courts. An air conditioned pro shop provides relief from the heat during the summer hours of operation.

Patrons must present a current season pass or pay a daily admission during the hours of operation as follows:

Meet Shaw Park Tennis Center's Tennis Pro

Born and raised in Saint Louis, Clark played his college and prep tennis at Saint Louis University and SLUH.  At FRC since the 2012 season, Clark is back home from Longmeadow Massacusetts, where he was the Director of tennis at Longmeadow Country Club.  A certified USPTA Level 1 pro, he's also Etcheberry certified in tennis strength, fitness and conditioning.  He will be returning for his second year at Shaw Park Tennis Center in 2017 as the new Director of Tennis.

Clayton Parks and Recreation has partnered with Frontenac Racquet Club to manage and provide high quality programming at Shaw Park Tennis Center.  This partnership earned the award of 2014 Facility of the Year by the Missouri Valley section of the USTA.

  • 1 hour semi-private lesson - $40.00 / person
