Plan Commission/Architectural Review Board

In light of the current public health crisis and the Federal, State, and County Emergency Declarations, and in accord with the provisions of Sec. 610.020, RSMo., the Plan Commission/Architectural Review Board recognizes that it would be dangerous and impractical, if not impossible, for its meeting to be physically accessible to the public. The Commission/Board also recognizes the need for the public’s business to be attended to in order to protect the public health, safety, and welfare. In order to balance both the need for continuity of government and protection of the health and safety of our residents, business persons, and employees, this meeting of the Plan Commission/Architectural Review Board will not be open to public attendance in person. The meeting will be accessible by the public in real time ONLY by following the instructions in the box below.

Persons interested in making their views known on any matter on the agenda should send an email with their comments to the Assistant City Clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org. All comments received will be distributed to the entire Commission/Board before the meeting.
Permit Pick-up Instructions
You will receive an email once your payment has been processed and when your permit documentation and payment receipt will be available for pick-up, at the designated pick-up/drop-off location at City Hall. Your permit will be available for 10 business days (from notification email), at which point if you have not secured your permit, you must make alternate arrangements via emailing email@example.com.
*Please note: By submitting payment, you are acknowledging that there may be noted conditions of approval contained in your permit documents and those conditions will be complied with as part of the approved construction for the associated permit.
Planning is a process of rational decision making about future development that interrelates all functional and natural systems and activities relating to the use of lands. A Plan is a general policy guide to development and land use that should be collaborative and vision-driven. The outcome of Planning is a generalized, coordinated land use map and policy statement.
Zoning consists of locally enacted laws that control specific uses of each parcel in an area and put the long-range land use plan into effect. The outcome of Zoning is a zoning ordinance and map. The zoning regulations and map should be directly related to a previously prepared and adopted Comprehensive Plan.
