To Share a Property’s Data
To share Utility Data from your property with others, you must first be “connected” with them in Portfolio Manager. To send a connection request or confirm that you are already connected:

Click Contacts in the upper right-hand corner of your portfolio manager homepage. This directory shows you your current list of contacts, including those with which you are currently “connected.”

Click Add New Contacts/Connections

When you find the person that you want to connect with on the Search Results page, click Connect to send them a connection request.
Now you can share your property information with your connected contacts and specify the level of permission that the contact has to view and/or edit your properties. The City of Clayton requires that all benchmarking properties share their ___________. To start sharing:

Go to the Sharing tab and click Share (or Edit Access to) a property.

Click Select Properties. Select the properties that you want to share from the pop-up menu. You can select a single property, multiple properties, or all properties in your account. You can also select properties by using filters by property type. Click Apply Selection after the properties of choice have been selected.

Select contacts with whom to share these properties by clicking on their names. You can select multiple contacts or accounts by holding down Ctrl as you make each selection. If you do not see a specific contact in your list, check to see if they are listed on your Contacts page (found in the top right navigator bar) and have accepted your connection request.

After you share your property, you will see notifications on your MyPortfolio and Sharing tabs that the sharing request was sent, as well as notifications when the contact(s) has accepted your sharing request
To Manage Your Shared Properties
Review properties you have shared with others and properties that have been shared with you.
On the Sharing tab you can:

View sharing requests in the Sharing Notifications section. This includes sharing requests you have sent to others, and requests others have sent to you.

View all your sharing contacts and the properties you have shared in the table at the bottom of the page.
To edit permissions or remove access to shared properties:

Navigate to the property’s Summary tab.

On the Sharing this Property table, use the Action drop down menu to edit a user’s permissions
When you disconnect from someone, any shared properties will remain intact. If you do not want that person to have access to your property, you will need to remove access by going to the property’s Summary tab to remove their access as detailed above.
